Directions and Parking
The Teaching and Learning with iPads Conference will be held in Laurel Hall at UConn. Registration will take place in the lobby on the first floor starting at 7:45am. Parking is available in the South Parking Garage behind the UConn Co-Op. Please bring your parking ticket to the registration desk to be validated.
DIRECTIONS TO SOUTH GARAGE:
FROM INTERSTATE 84:
Take I-84 East/West to Exit 68. Take Route 195 South approximately 7 miles to campus (crossing over Routes 32 and 44). Starting from the “UConn” sign on the right, proceed straight through four sets of lights. At the 5th light, turn right onto Mansfield Road. Take the second left onto Gilbert Road and proceed to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn right onto Hillside Road and proceed to the next stop sign. At the stop sign turn left onto Jim Calhoun Way and the entrance to the South Parking Garage will be on the left (behind the UConn Co-Op).
FROM SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT:
Take I-95 to Route 395 North. Take Exit 81 to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. Turn right onto South Street and go over the Frog Bridge. At the end of the bridge, continue straight through the light onto Jackson Street. Jackson Street runs directly into Route 195 North. Continue on Route 195 North through Mansfield and into Storrs (approximately 8 miles). Proceed past E.O. Smith High School on the left and Storrs Center on the right. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Mansfield Road. Take the second left onto Gilbert Road and proceed to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn right onto Hillside Road and proceed to the next stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left onto Jim Calhoun Way and the entrance to the South Parking Garage will be on the left (behind the UConn Co-Op).
WALKING FROM THE SOUTH PARKING GARAGE TO LAUREL HALL:
From the parking garage, return to Hillside Road (in front of the Co-Op). Cross the street and turn left. The first building on the right will be the School of Business. Take a right onto Fairfield Way, between the School of Business and the Student Union. The building on the left, behind the Student Union, will be Laurel Hall. Registration will be held in the lobby on the first floor.
